Bachelor Of Dental Surgery (BDS)

  1. The candidate must be an Indian National.
  2. The Candidates must be Domicile of Maharashtra
  3. The candidate must be medically fit.
  4. The candidate must have passed the SSC or equivalent examination from an Institution situated in the state of Maharashtra.
  5. The candidate must have passed the qualifying examination i.e. Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC/12th Standard) or equivalent examination from an Institution situated in the state of Maharashtra with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
  6. A candidate belonging to Open Category must have obtained not less than 50% (i.e. 150 out of 300) marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the HSC (or equivalent) Examination.
  7. A candidate belonging to constitutional reservation must have obtained not less than 40% (i.e. 120 out of 300) marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the HSC (or equivalent) Examination.
  8. A candidate belonging to open category must secure not less than 50 percentile marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) taken together at NEET UG.
  9. A candidate belonging to constitutional reservation must secure not less than 40 percentile marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) taken together in the NEET UG.
  10. The candidate has to fulfil the qualifications and eligibility criteria as notified by Central Government/Dental Council of India from time to time.
  11. Admission to BDS Course is subject to the grant of eligibility by Maharashtra University of Health Science, Nashik.

Master Of Dental Surgery (MDS)

  1. Candidate must be an Indian
  2. All candidates, who have passed final B.D.S examination from the college situated in Maharashtra and completed/ completing one-year internship training by 31st March of year of admission from a recognized dental college.
  3. The candidates who are domiciled in the State of Maharashtra.
  4. The candidate must be medically fit.
  5. All Candidates desirous to take admission for MDS courses under state quota or Institutional quota must have appeared for NEET-MDS.
  6. Candidate belonging to General Category and EWS category must secure minimum of marks at 50th percentile in NEET-MDS.
  7. Candidates belonging to constitutional reservation must secure minimum of marks at 40th percentile in NEET-MDS
  8. DCI/State Dental Council registration / Other State Dental Council is mandatory for NEET-MDS.
  9. The candidate has to fulfill the qualifications and eligibility criteria as notified by Central Government/Dental Council of India from time to time.
  10. Admission to BDS Course is subject to the grant of eligibility by Maharashtra University of Health Science, Nashik.

PhD

  1. Obtain minimum of marks of 50th percentile in MUHS PhD entrance exam held for the said academic year.
